Complaints and Appeals

Anyone may raise a complaint. Accredited bodies and applicants may appeal a decision.

Complaints

  1. Submit the complaint in writing with supporting evidence.
  2. ISA acknowledges it within 5 working days.
  3. A person not involved in the matter investigates.
  4. You receive a written outcome.

Complaints about a certified organization should first go to the certification body that issued the certificate.

Appeals

  1. Lodge the appeal in writing within 30 days of the decision.
  2. An appeals panel of persons not involved in the decision reviews it.
  3. The panel decides within 60 days and informs you in writing.
